We offer open plans for houses, where each room will have sprinklers installed. In case of a fire, only affected rooms will have their sprinklers activate. This helps prevent flooding in unaffected areas.
Our fire sprinklers will ensure that either the fire is completely put out, or controlled until the fire brigade arrives. They will also help suppress any toxic gases during a fire.
How do Sprinklers work?
- Fire breaks out and increases the temperature inside the room.
- When the temperature reaches 57 degrees Celsius, the cover plate of a sprinkler releases. The deflector plate drops to below the ceiling and becomes exposed.
- When the temperature reaches 68 degrees Celsius, the exposed element breaks, releasing the water via pressure from behind the plug.
- Water cools the room, prevents oxygen from feeding the flames and washes out toxic fumes from the smoke.
- Fire is prevented from growing and shrinks.
- Fire is either put out completely or is controlled until the fire brigade arrive.
